Our Origin Story

Phonomenal Designs was born from a bowl of pho and a family memory. I still remember the first time my mom taught me how to eat it: the ritual of layering basil and bean sprouts, the tang of lime, and the way steam danced off the bowl like a prayer. She made a spicy onion side dish that transformed the whole experience. Thinly-sliced onions, chili sauce, chili oil, and a swirl of hoisin, all mixed and dropped lovingly atop a spoonful of broth and noodles. A firework of flavor. A memory that stuck.

That’s what this brand is all about: moments that nourish the body, heart, and funny bone.

What We Believe

We believe pho is more than soup—it’s a metaphor. A bowl of balance. A reminder that spice and sweetness, heat and harmony, complexity and simplicity can all coexist beautifully. It’s the Tao of flavor. The Zen of slurping. The broth of becoming pho real.
